Instead of censure, a frank discussion about male masturbation should take place to help a young guy overcome shyness about his own body. And once this body shyness has disappeared he will be much better prepared to deal with the emotional work that is needed to become a healthy, happy individual. When all is said and done the censure and ‘dirtiness’ that is portrayed about a boy touching his own penis is not truly about masturbation or sex, but about control of a human’s actions. Time for society to consider a change, don’t’ you think?
